I photograph weddings for couples who want to remember exactly how their day felt. My style is rooted in storytelling and I photograph with a candid and documentary approach, blending 35mm and 120 film with digital and super 8 to create imagery that feels authentic to you and how your day happened. By staying quietly present, I focus on capturing real emotions as they unfold, creating a timeless gallery that feels true to you both and allows you to relive your day through the memories I've captured.
WHY FILM?
Film lends itself naturally to the way I photograph weddings, quietly, unobtrusively and with a focus on real connections. With film, every frame is intentional and every photo unique, from the soft grain and beautiful colours to the little imperfections that create photographs that feel tactile and timeless. 35mm and 120 film have taught me to slow down and to truly see what's happening in front of me. I'm constantly waiting for that glance, that touch, that burst of laughter and the tiny moments amongst the big moments. Years of shooting 35mm film and studying photography have taught me to anticipate what's about to happen and to recognise a moment before it's gone, and to be intentional with the memories I capture.
WEDDINGS ON SUPER 8
Filmed on authentic Kodak Super 8 film, your wedding becomes a little piece of moving memory, imperfect, nostalgic and completely real. Filmed by a dedicated Super 8 filmmaker, and offering simultaneous coverage alongside photography, this is the closest thing to stepping back into your wedding day.
